Driving ambition programme is designed to be flexible to build on young peoples starting points, and will last up to 15 weeks and will run for 4 days per week.
How much does it cost?
Nothing, Driving Ambitions is funded by the LSC and Sheffield City Council under the Future Proof Framework.
Participants may be entitled to Education Maintenance Allowances [EMA]. If eligible for EMA, Sheffield City Council may possibly provide travel expenses. We will discuss this with you during your first discussion.
Participant may be given free driving lessons while on this project.
As part of the Driving Ambitions Programme there will be an opportunity to access free practical driving lessons together with preparation to undertake the theory test, alongside qualified driving instructors.
This aspect of the programme will be built into the overall programme but will be subject to the participant?s attendance levels and their commitment to the programme.
