	LGV Training Schedule   1 A medical is required at the start of the programme to enable a provisional driving licence for Category C to be applied for. We have a Doctor who does all our medicals at Brinsworth on the north side of Sheffield and this medical can normally be booked within 5 working days. The form will need to be filled out including the doctor's section and parts D2/D4; this is then sent to the DVLA for processing. 2 An assessment will then be carried out by our Chief Instructor on the road and on our own private manoeuvring area; a copy of the licence (paper and plastic) must be taken and placed in a file for insurance purposes before commencement of the assessment. From this assessment the number of training hours can be determined. These hours can be adjusted as the training progresses should it be required if some areas need more or less input. At the assessment we can supply the candidate with The Official DSA Theory Book at £14.99 which then can be passed on to further candidates. 3 A theory test must be passed prior to any further training taking place and we will book this for them as required. A copy of the theory pass test certificate is required for the file to enable any driving tests to be booked. 4 We can then proceed with the practical training and it is at this stage a test is booked, the training will then be arranged to flow into the test so they will have an uninterrupted training period .All training is only done on a one to one basis, we feel that this is the only effective method of driver training. We normally invoice at two stages, one when all the medicals/theory tests/assessments have taken place and again after the driving test has taken place, the invoice will be sent whatever the outcome. Should the candidate have not passed the test then we normally re-book another test with a short training period to take place prior to the test day and another invoice when this further stage is completed.    At any stage of the program we are always available to answer any questions and give complete support to the candidates and their companies.
