Driving Up 4 Work Project
Coalfield Regeneration Trust
This project is funded through the Coalfield Regeneration Trust and is aimed at 16-64 year olds who are looking to gain work or re-enter the job market after a period of illness or similar. Particular emphasis is on developing employability skills in the following areas:
- CVs and letters
- Job application forms
- Training on forklift and LGV
- Interviewing and telephone techniques
- Job search
- Developing links with employers
The aim is to link this activity with community and voluntary sector organisations to “take this provision to clients” and deliver part of the service in these centres.
Performance
Performance on the CRT project from January 2007 – March 2008 is:

We are currently applying for future funding to continue with this project.
