What Will I study?
You will use a wide range of software and learn about the use of information technology in commerce and industry. You will learn about databases web sites, digital graphics, information and computer systems, how to design and write programmes, animation and e-commerce.

Level: 2: BTEC Diploma

You Need:
2 GCSEs at grade D and 2 at grade E including English.

Lead to:
Further study at a more advanced level, such as BTEC level 3 Diploma. Possible employment within the computing/business field.

What Will I study?
You will study the ways in which organisations handle graphical, numerical and textual information and its impact on society. You will develop your own skills in using information technology applications, such as producing text, graphics and creating databases and spreadsheets.

Degree-related courses or possible employment and a career in programming, networking or web design.

What Will I study?
You will use a wide range of software and hardware and learn about the use of information technology in commerce and industry. The extra units taken extend the Diploma course by specialising in topics like Computer Networks and IT Technical Support that are related more to the workplace.
