Train2Gain
ETL has recently partnered with the Yorkshire Training Partnership LTD to deliver the Train 2 Gain contract funded by the Learning & Skills Council.
We target employers throughout the Yorkshire and Humber regions, operating in the logistics, distribution and transportation. We work with the employer to establish the companies and the employee’s individual training needs and to strive to meet these needs in anyway we can.
Through the LSC funding we can offer partly or fully funded training in the areas of LGV training and Forklift Truck Training. For further details on Logistic Courses offered see the Logistic Training Centre page.
Eligibility Criteria
Companies With <50 Employees
More than 30% of their workforce should not have being involved in vocational training over the past 12 months.
Companies With 50 or >50 Employees
More than 10% of their workforce should not have being involved in vocational training over the past 12 months.
Employees Criteria – Qualifications (Can’t have)
NVQ level 2, equivalent or above, 5 GCSE’s A – C Grade. Must be at least 25 years old.
It is also necessary that the individual must complete one of the following NVQ’s with ETL.
- Level 2 – Driving Goods Vehicles
- Level 2 - Plant Operations
- Level 2 – Warehouse & Distribution
