ETL Services
Employment & Training Links provides support advice and guidance to help clients access education, training and employment opportunities. At our centre in Sheffield city centre, Beighton we have resource centres which are equipped with IT equipment, industry literature and job search, CV writing and interview skills books. Clients can have access to telephones, fax, computers and the internet. We maintain up to date information on a wide range employment opportunities, training and further education courses. We also have outreach centres based in Rotherham, Barnsley and Doncaster.
Client Support Officers are available to support and assist clients. Their job is to work with the clients to assess the individuals needs and work together with the client to help ensure their individual goals are reached as quickly and efficiently as possible.
A CSO can also visit clients at their place of work, at home or another location by prior appointment.

Driving Ambitions Programme:
Driving Ambitions Programme is exclusively for young people living in Sheffield and will focus on registering clients who are Not in Education, Employment and Training. The programme is available to those aged 16 to 18 years.
We provide training, work experience practical advice and support. We will help with:
- Developing or improving your CV
- Completing job application forms
- Developing interview skills
- Developing a better understanding of your own skills and abilities and how to use them in your career
- Fork Lift Truck training - we will provide a 5 day novice course for all participants wishing to take up a career in warehousing
Logistic Training Centre:
ETL also has a training centre which provides training in LGV, Cat C & C+E and Fork lift Truck. The training takes place at our training centre in Holbrook or on a company site.
Train 2 Gain:
We are currently running a Train to Gain contract funded by the Learning & Skills Council, through Yorkshire Training Partnership. This is run through our Logistics training centre based in Holbrook, Sheffield which provides driver training from car to HGV/PCV and Fork Lift Truck.
Employability Skills:
We are currently running an Employability Skills programme funded by the Learning & Skills Council. This programme provides support to help participants develop the right skills to access employment.
